Considering a PhD in the biomedical sciences?
Join us for an inside look at graduate training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. These virtual sessions are designed for prospective students who want to understand not only how to apply, but what it is actually like to train as a scientist at Einstein.
During this 45-minute session, members of the Einstein community will introduce you to our PhD program, research environment, graduate student experience, and admissions process — with time for your questions.
Whether you are preparing to apply this year or simply beginning to consider graduate school, you are welcome to join us.

These sessions are open to anyone interested in exploring doctoral training in the biomedical sciences, including:
- Undergraduate and master's students
- Recent graduates
- Research assistants, technicians, coordinators, and postbaccalaureate researchers
- Prospective applicants preparing for an upcoming admissions cycle
- Anyone beginning to consider whether a PhD may be the right next step
You do not need to be ready to apply to Einstein to attend. We welcome participants at all stages of exploring graduate education.

- What programs will be discussed during the session?
We will be discussing the PhD Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine
- How long will the information session last?
The session should last around 1 hour
- Where will the session be held?
Our virtual information sessions are held virtually through Zoom. You will be sent a confirmation email with the Zoom link and meeting information upon registration and also a reminder email the day of the information session.
- I unfortunately will not be able to make it. Can I sign up for a different information session?
Yes, we have many available dates. Please use this form to register for an alternative virtual information session date.

- Should I sign up for more than one session?
All of our sessions cover the same information. We recommend that you register for a session you know you will be able to attend. However, if you are unable to attend a session you originally signed up for, please feel free to sign up for an alternative date.
- Will there be time for questions during the presentation?
Yes, you will be able to ask questions during and after the presentation.
- How do I access the meeting?
This is a virtual session. You may join using Zoom on a computer, iPad or cell phone.
